ComInTec Friction Torque Limiter DF/SI

ComInTec Friction Torque Limiters are sliding safety couplings where a plate wheel, pulley or other transmission components are placed between two friction rings.
The DF/SI model has been designed with electromechanical overload signalling and automatic re-engagement after transmission reset.

ComInTec Friction Torque Limiter DF/SI
ComInTec Friction Torque Limiter DF/SI transmits signals on overload and automatically re-engages when possible. Providing the utmost safety for your application, whilst saving time and money on maintenance and repair costs.
The DF design is suitable for dry and dusty conditions, used to eliminate machine damage from jamming and overloads. Friction Torque Limiters are cost-effective, easy to use, bi-directional, adjustable and provide low noise operations.
The sliding safety coupling ensures continuous transmission without damaging the components. Manufactured to absorb static torques without disengaging, the DF design is ideal for protecting the motor-gearbox in case of accidental collision, or protecting the film of wrapping machines in case of higher tension.
ComIntec's Friction Torque Limiters slip and absorb shock loads on overload. At lower speeds they can be used as slipping clutches for extended periods.
