WPT In-Line Pneumatic PTO Clutch.
Industrial Clutch Parts (ICP) supplies various clutches and brakes to the Agriculture industry. A recent customer needed a power take-off (PTO) clutch for a tub grinder to convert the harvested hay bales into feed for the cattle.
To meet the challenging application requirements, ICP supplied a WPT pilotless over-the-shaft pneumatic PTO clutch, engineered to meet the most demanding diesel engine requirements. The unit eliminates the pilot bearing and increases side load capacity over previous generations of PTO products. The dual spherical roller bearing design eliminates side load on the shaft. There is no direct loading to engine crankshaft which increases life on the engine main bearing.
