Coremo MPA-1N is a spring-applied, pneumatic release, failsafe caliper brake. The brake is commonly used for applications where emergency, parking, holding or service stops are required.

Coremo Spring Applied, Pneumatic Release, Failsafe Caliper Brake
Coremo MPA-1N is a spring applied pneumatic caliper brake, intended for industrial applications requiring emergency and/or parking brake functions. The caliper brake is operated by helical springs which generate a constant clamping force. Primarily designed for industrial applications requiring low clamping forces and overall dimensions.
The brake can be installed in any position since it has a lever balancing and brake pad alignment system. To release the brake, air pressure of no more than 6 bar is required. The SG iron caliper is designed to withstand the mechanical and thermal stresses generated with satisfactory safety coefficients.
The lining pads can be adjusted to ensure that the friction surfaces grip the brake disc at all points. Quality controls ensure a reliable, safe product and trouble-free caliper operation.
