Simplatroll electromagnetic clutches are available in standard sizes, covering a torque range from 7.5 - 480 Nm. With very fast response times, backlash-free, and no run-in requirement, Simplatroll replacement brakes provide an axially compact design.
Simplatroll electromagnetic brakes suit dynamic stopping and/or holding. The brake range covers torque from 7.5 to 480 Nm in various sizes with outside diameters from 63 to 250 mm. All models use the same concept of generating magnetic flux by applying DC voltage to a coil. The magnetic flux pulls in a steel plate onto a surface with embedded friction material.
