Simplatroll electromagnetic clutches are used to connect and disconnect parts of a machine without having to stop and start the motor.

Simplatroll Replacement Clutches - Standard Series
Simplatroll electromagnetic clutches are available in standard sizes, covering a torque range from 7.5 - 480 Nm. With very fast response times, backlash-free and no run-in requirement, Simplatroll replacement clutches provide an axially compact design.
The electromagnetic clutches generate magnetic flux by applying DC voltage to a coil. The magnetic flux pulls in a steel plate onto a surface with embedded friction material.
Bearing mounted clutches come in two parts with the stator bearing mounted onto the rotor for easy installation. Typically easier to use and therefore recommended for general applications.
The 3-part flange mounted clutches are best suited for applications where axial space is limited, or where the clutch can be effectively built into the machine design.
