Industrial Clutch Parts Ltd. supplies a complete range of Eaton Airflex water-cooled brakes. Eaton Airflex has developed four different models of water-cooled brakes in a variety of sizes.
Airflex WCBD3 models incorporate a dual-piston design. The air and water-cooled combination brake acts as both a dynamic tensioning and static holding brake.

Eaton Airflex Third Generation Water Cooled Brake
Eaton Airflex has re-developed its 36” water-cooled tensioning brakes. WCBD3 is an externally-cooled, dynamic disc-brake. A high-energy absorbing brake that dissipates extremely high thermal loads. The new model incorporates an improved internal design and increased water flow allowing for improved fluid dynamics with better energy dissipation characteristics.
The new and improved robust construction eliminates copper cracking seen in competitive units. Its compact design protects demanding applications from seal leakage and provides easier rebuilds and quicker maintenance intervals.
1000 HP per disc offers faster tripping time and the potential to downsize the brake in the same application. The self-supporting brake eliminates costly support brackets. These brakes are retrofits to existing water-cooled brake mounting.
