Danfoss Airflex Water Cooled Brakes - WCB2 & WCBD
Industrial Clutch Parts Ltd. supplies a complete range of Eaton Airflex water-cooled brakes. Eaton Airflex has developed four different models of water-cooled brakes in a variety of sizes.
Airflex WCB2 & WCBD models are air-applied, externally-cooled brakes, designed to absorb and dissipate thermal loads associated with the most severe braking applications.

Eaton's Airflex Water Cooled Brakes - WCB2 & WCBD
Eaton's Airflex water-cooled brakes feature a specially formulated friction material, interfacing with a copper alloy surface which eliminates the stick-slip characteristics associated with the ordinary frictional devices.
Airflex WCB2 & WCBD units work equally well with open- or closed-loop circulating systems, maximizing their flexibility. They feature a patented piston design for improved controllability. The dynamic coefficient of friction is greater than its static coefficient of friction. Special high coefficient linings offer up to 50% higher torque.
These water-cooled brakes can absorb and dissipate huge thermal loads. Ideal braking solutions for drilling rigs, dynamometers, logging equipment, marine mooring systems, slip clutches, tension brakes, and unwind stands.
