Danfoss Airflex Water Cooled Brakes - WCSB
Industrial Clutch Parts Ltd. supplies a complete range of Eaton Airflex water-cooled brakes. Eaton Airflex has developed four different models of water-cooled brakes in a variety of sizes.
Airflex WCSB model is an air-applied, water-and-air-cooled, multiple-disc brake that excels in heavy-duty applications. Typical applications include draw works, mooring systems, and log yarders.

Eaton Airflex Water Cooled Brakes - WCSB
Eaton's Airflex water-cooled brakes feature a specially formulated friction material, interfacing with a copper alloy surface which eliminates the stick-slip characteristics associated with the ordinary frictional devices.
Airflex WCSB series allows for greater control of braking/tensioning functions. WCSB units have been designed for dynamic tensioning, static holding, and emergency stops. One brake is pressure-applied (for dynamic tensioning) and the other is spring-applied (for emergency stopping and holding).
WCSB incorporates two water-cooled friction discs and one air-cooled friction disc. The diameter of the water-cooled friction discs is 24 inches. Engineered to excel in heavy-duty braking and tensioning applications.
