Nexen's 5HP-SP Series has been manufactured as metric, air engaged, straight bore, pilot mount, positioning tooth clutches.
FEATURES:
Ball & detent synchronizing mechanism.
Mounting on driving or driven shaft.
Torque ratings up to 46,300 In. Lbs.
Bearing mounted piston, air inlet does not rotate.
Torque proportional to control pressure.
Requires no lubrication.
Dampens shock and vibration through the power train
Reverse Bushing Tapers for bushing installation from the inside of the coupling.
Coupling discs made from composite materials provide the benefits of both a steel disc and elastomeric coupling.
