These mechanical devices are used to transfer fluid from a stationary source, such as a supply pipe, into a rotating piece of machinery. ICP offers Girol single passage rotary joints, Girol dual passage rotary unions, Girol triple passage rotary unions, and Girol four passage rotary unions.

Rotating Unions can also be referred to as rotary swivels, swivel joints, and rotary couplings. Girol Rotating Unions are used in numerous manufacturing processes to cool, heat, or transfer pneumatic or hydraulic fluid power.

Girol Z series is used for Air & Vaccum applications. The Z Type Rotating Unions are used for axial or in shaft mounting. The standard supply provides the rotating nipple threaded cylindrical GAS right or left rotation. Upon request, we are able to supply non-standard seals. The standard seal (graphite vs. stainless steel) is used for air/water, for hydraulic oil, a seal of silicon carbide is suggested.
