Eaton Airflex Combination Clutch/Brake - FSPA
Eaton Airflex combination clutch-brakes give systems the stopping power they need to operate safely and efficiently. Designed for demanding applications that require high torque and horsepower absorption as well as precise controllability.
FSPA is a flywheel clutch/brake package, designed primarily for stamping press applications. However, it can be easily adapted to other types of flywheel machines requiring cyclic operation.
The major components of the package are:
- Airflex CB or VC clutch element
- Airflex CS, CSA, or CTE spring-applied air-released brake
- A flywheel or bull-gear with anti-friction bearings
- Clutch and brake drums
- Airflex quick-release valves & rotor seals
