Eaton Airflex Constricting Clutches & Brakes - CM
Eaton Airlfex constricting clutches and brakes maximize performance in braking and tensioning applications. The drum style products expand radially inward when pressurized. The constricting tube forces friction shoes against an outer cylindrical drum surface.
CM elements are specially manufactured for the marine industry on diesel-driven, reverse-reduction gears. Best suited for applications where moderate slippage is encountered. The ventilated friction shoes permit clutch slippage at low energy rates during vessel maneuvering, as well as cycling engagements at high energy rates.
