Eaton Airflex Constricting Clutches & Brakes - CB
Eaton Airlfex constricting clutches and brakes maximize performance in braking and tensioning applications. The drum style products expand radially inward when pressurized. The constricting tube forces friction shoes against an outer cylindrical drum surface.
CB elements are well known for torsional resilience, made possible by power transmission through the sidewalls of the flexible neoprene and cord actuating tube. The flexibility accommodates minor shaft misalignments.
Ideal for industrial machinery in can-making, commercial laundry, metal forming, oil and gas, printing, rubber processing, and tire building applications.
